Child Molestation Defense Lawyer in McAllen
Former Prosecutor. 15+ Years Defending Serious Sex Crime Charges in Hidalgo County.
Texas doesn’t use the term “child molestation” in its penal code. When someone faces this kind of accusation, prosecutors charge the conduct as Indecency with a Child or Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child under Penal Code Chapter 21, or Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child under Penal Code Chapter 22. These are among the most aggressively prosecuted felonies in Hidalgo County, and the process moves fast from the moment an allegation surfaces.
Rolando Cantu spent years on the other side of these cases, first as a Hidalgo County Assistant District Attorney and later as an Assistant United States Attorney. That background shapes how Law Office of Rolando D. Cantu approaches every defense: we understand how investigators build these allegations and where those cases are vulnerable before they reach a courtroom. Our clients in McAllen, Edinburg, Mission, Pharr, Hidalgo, and San Juan get more than 15 years of serious criminal defense experience and direct attorney involvement from the first call.
A child sex abuse allegation puts your freedom, your family, and your future at risk. Call Law Office of Rolando D. Cantu now at (956) 594-5607 for a free, confidential case review. We’re available 24/7 and offer bilingual Spanish representation.
